The LHS Auxiliary is a group of men and women whose purpose is to advance the welfare of the Lutheran High School of Kansas City by promoting an active interest in the school; by providing moral and financial support through projects; and by developing a spirit of Christian fellowship and social activity in the Lutheran Community.

Dear Brother and Sisters in Christ:
Proverbs 22:6 tells us to “Train a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not turn from it”. This is what the Lutheran High School of Kansas City has been doing since 1980, training students for Today, Tomorrow and Eternity. The school, over the past 36 years, has faced many challenges and by the grace of God is now financially stable and growing.
In 1988, the Lutheran High School Auxiliary was established. Over the past 28 years they have raised funds to provide necessary items that directly benefit the students. In the past year the Auxiliary realized the need for long-term financial support for the high school. A Foundation has been established. We are now a Corporation and 501 (c) (3) organization with a governing board. The Auxiliary held an internal fund raiser and raised $18,000. We also have been blessed with matching funds from a donor. The money has been placed in the Lutheran Legacy Foundation and we now have over $60,000 in the account. A percent of the interest will be given to the High School several times a year to be used as needed. Long after we are gone our gifts will enable high school students to obtain an excellent academic and religious education.
We know God works through His people to supply what is truly needed to accomplish His work here on earth. We ask you to prayerfully consider a gift to our Lutheran High School Foundation. We have enclosed a brochure that outlines who we are and how you can be a part of this God-pleasing project.
